Prawn Island (Based on: Belle Isle, Florida)

Prawn Island is a small island in northern Vice City, between Downtown and Vice Point. The island harbors the InterGlobal Films studio. The name is play on the name for shrimp, prawn, and the alternate name for porn, pron, due to InterGlobal Films business in the porn industry. Prawn Island used to have some beautiful villas, but they have been abandoned, boarded up, and taken over by local street gangs.

Downtown (Based on: Downtown Miami, Florida)

Downtown is the northernmost area in the city. Mirroring Downtown Miami, it has most of the city's skyscrapers, including the tallest structure in the city. The giant Hyman Memorial Stadium hosts events such as concerts, stock car races, demolition derbies and dirt bike stunt shows. Downtown is the location for the local heavy metal radio station V-Rock and an enclosed recording studio, where lead singer for rock band Love Fist, Jezz Torrent, was seen recording a song. The Ammu-Nation gun store supplies weapons and armor.
Other places of interest include the Vice City News (VCN) headquarters and a venue for a Love Fist concert, just south of the V-Rock radio station. An unnamed beach is also located west of Downtown, but it receives no visitors or attention, a stark contrast to Washington Beach in the Ocean Beach area. A police station, hospital and one of the city's fire station is situated in the area.

Little Haiti (Based on: Little Haiti, Miami, Florida))

Little Haiti is a district in Vice City, which is predominantly inhabited by Haitians and is home to local street gangs. Little Haiti is noted to be more run-down than Little Havana, with the presence of poorly maintained buildings, low-wealth businesses and smaller homes. A solvent factory is located at the west side of Little Haiti.
A large printing press is located at the border between Little Haiti and Little Havana. Phil Cassidy's home and weapons armory is located on the northwest end of Little Haiti. Kaufman Cabs, a local taxi cab company, is also based in Little Haiti, located a block north of the neighborhood.

Little Havana (Based on: Little Haiti, Miami, Florida))

Little Havana is generally a low-rise, low density district implied by name to be an enclave for Cuban immigrants to Vice City, with larger buildings concentrated towards the northeast, and low density commercial and residential buildings huddled to the west. The Cuban flavor of the district is reflected by the presence of businesses with signage utilizing Spanish language, as well as the architectural aesthetics of the southern half of the district.
While more dense than neighboring Little Haiti, the district still contains swatches of greenspace in the suburban block to the northwest and around Sunshine Autos to the south. Like Little Haiti, Little Havana's eastern shoreline is lined with disused docks.
Racial Demographic: Primarily Hispanic

Viceport (Based on: N/A)

Viceport is located on the southeastern peninsular of Vice City Mainland, neighboring Little Havana to the north and Escobar International Airport to the west. As expected for a seaport, the district primarily contains port facilities and warehouses, and large shipping vessels dock on the southern and eastern shorelines of the seaport. Laborers and commercial/industrial traffic are common in the district.
Viceport's boundaries also extended further southeast into the bay towards Vice City Beach, encompassing a set of stilt houses drawing inspiration from the real-life Stiltsville.
East Viceport houses the Ocean Bay Marina, half of which is actually located in Ocean Beach itself.

Vice City Junkyard is located in Little Haiti, Vice City, just a short walk away from the Little Haiti Well Stacked Pizza Co. resturant, Funeraria Romero, Carnicero Romero, and the Solvent Factory. Several garbage skips and cranes can be found inside the junkyard, although they cannot be operated, destroyed, and/or driven. Fort Baxter Military Base (Based on: N/A)

As implied, Fort Baxter is a multirole military installation that provides accommodation and training for recruits, stores military equipment (most prominently military vehicles), and serve as a operations center for military deployments from Vice City. The base's layout can be summarized as follows: The base's main courtyard, where ground-base military vehicles are parked, is located directly behind the base's main entrance, with the administration building is situated on the northwestern corner. The base's three hangers can be seen on the southeastern portion of the compound, while two barracks (complete with a significantly detailed obstacle course) are found on the northeastern corner. These facilities are separated by fences which can only be crossed by walking around them or finding a gate. Three heavily reinforced guard towers, two at the entrance, and one between the administration building and obstacle course, tower over the compound.
